Kirstin	Has anyone got a drawing or design of a large outdoor ferret cage that I can copy - I have too many ferrets for my current cage so need to do a larger outdoor one with a bigger run for them. Using weldmesh or something similar for the floor as well as the sides and part of the roof - the other being waterproof. (respond to this request)
Anne Droitwich FW	CAN YOU HELP? WE ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE INCIDENCE OF FERRETS WHICH MOULT EXCESSIVELY BUT WHERE THE SKIN IS HEALTHY – IE. NO EVIDENCE OF PARASITE OR OTHER SKIN CONDITION. (We are not concerned here with the common “rat-tail” moult where the fur is lost purely on the tail) IF YOU OWN OR HAVE OWNED SUCH A FERRET WE WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS? Andrew	Hi all. Im thinking of a new court for my ferrets. Id like to have a man made tunnel system going into above ground nest boxes. Most of the boxes would be linked together by the underground tunnels while 4 nest boxes will be like stops. Those 4 will have tunnels of only 2inches round to stop my hobs getting in. It is hoped that by doing this the females that i breed from would use them to give birth in. I was thinking to plant a few trees there so in the Autum the leaves would fall & give them something to play with. It's hoped the "Warren" would be in a man made hill! A pond with a pumped stream with stepping stomes would be there with the whole thing enclosed with a brick wall to waist high. A total of 8 ferrets will live there. What do you all think? Is it possible to creat something like this? Its hoped that if its large enough then i will only clean out the nest boxes as the worms will take care ot the poo!
